WORLDTE Conference, Munich
As a member of the Scientific Board of the conference, I was able to participate in the 7th World Conference on Research in Teaching and Education at the Hotel Steigenberger in Munich. The conference was held in a "hybrid" mode, both "in person" and "online." A total of 30 speakers from 20 countries participated in the conference. The in-person section featured 15 speakers from 10 countries, with me being the only one from Hungary. The section was led by Sara Buttsworth from New Zealand. The presentations covered topics such as the gamification of science education, the role of artificial intelligence in education, methodologies for teaching English as a foreign language, independent, group, and project work applicable in university education, the possibilities and limitations of gamification in higher education, the reasons for university student dropout rates, and the challenges of digital education. My presentation was about the value-oriented leadership course. The conference was also special for me because my wife accompanied me as a tourist, and I met a primary school classmate of mine who had been living in Munich for decades.
